Mirror Mirror

Mirror, mirror on the wall…

Who is the fairest of all…?
What are we usually do first thing in the morning?  We get up from the bed.  Wait….what did we do before we even get up from bed?  Oh, I need to sleep some more…  Or I don’t feel like working today, and so on…  Or write down our dream…
Any way, it is time to walk to the bath room.  We do whatever we need to do in there, and it is time for us/woman to put on make up, and man is to shave.  We look at the mirror on the wall.  What do we see?  The reflection of a body/us.  If we look closer, what do we see?  Oh, no, two more winkles, I really need to have a face lift!  Or oh no, more white hair, and so on.  No offence, please… After we finish what ever we really need to do in there, we walk out the bathroom.  Did we forget something?  Nope!  I shower, I shave, I comb my hair, I put on make up and double check on my face/make up or cleanness from shaving. I even double check on my teeth, while I was saying cheese.  Oh boy, all these fish tail…..  I don’t think I forget anything….
Oh, yes.  We “did” forget something that is very precious, and very nurturing to us.  So let’s rewire and go back to the scene that we are almost coming out from the bathroom.  Now, let’s stand in front of this mirror and take a good/honest look at our eyes.  It is not going to be an easy task to do, but we can do this!  Look closer, closer, please.  Forget about the winkle already!!!  Look around the Iris, Sclera, and now look at the Pupil.  Take a few deep breaths, relax…  What do we see?  Sad eyes?  Stressful eyes?  Sleepy eyes?  Or exciting/happy eyes?  Now, look at those eyes, and tell them with feeling from our heart: I am love, I love myself, I except myself as I am now, I give and receive easily, or I see the truth meaning of all things that happen to me or around me.  Tell those eyes with positive phrases that are meaningful or nurture to our soul.  After all, those beautiful eyes are window to our soul.  Mirror is a surface to reflect an image or object that placed in front of it.  In another phrase, mirror represents reflection of what we see.
We can spare a minute or two to do the above exercise, or even a little longer.  We will see the different about a week or two that our eyes, our face is so lovingly, so lovingly fill with radian light….. Oh, honey! We can go to the trip that you had mention two years ago!
